Returns & Refunds

This policy explains how M.T. Techniques handles returns, manufacturing claims, damaged goods, replacements, credits, and refunds for B2B and private-label orders.

Updated September 2026 B2B Orders OEM & Private Label

Because M.T. Techniques primarily manufactures goods to customer specifications, many orders are customized and cannot be treated like standard retail purchases. Claims are reviewed individually based on the agreed specifications, approved samples, and circumstances of the order.

01. General Return Policy

Returns are not automatically accepted for B2B manufacturing orders. Eligibility depends on the product, customization, order terms, reason for return, and condition of the goods.

Customers should contact M.T. Techniques before returning any products. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

02. Custom & Private-Label Products

Products manufactured specifically for a customer, including customized colors, logos, branding, packaging, materials, sizes, specifications, or private-label designs, are generally not eligible for return due to change of mind.

Once a customized order has entered production, cancellation or alteration may also be restricted.

Important: Customers should carefully review and approve samples, artwork, specifications, colors, measurements, branding, and other production details before bulk manufacturing begins.

03. Manufacturing Defects

If products appear to contain a manufacturing defect or do not reasonably match the confirmed specifications, customers should contact us promptly so the issue can be reviewed.

Depending on the nature and extent of the issue, an appropriate resolution may include:

  • Replacement of affected goods
  • Repair or correction where practical
  • Credit toward a future order
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund in appropriate circumstances

The appropriate solution will depend on the circumstances of each claim.

04. Reporting a Claim

To help us investigate a claim efficiently, please provide clear information about the affected products and the issue identified.

1 Contact Us

Provide your company name, order reference, product details, and a clear description of the issue.

2 Send Evidence

Provide clear photographs or videos of the affected products, labels, packaging, and relevant defects.

3 Review

Our team will review the information and discuss an appropriate resolution where the claim is valid.

05. Time for Reporting Issues

Customers should inspect shipments as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and report visible shortages, incorrect products, transportation damage, or manufacturing concerns promptly.

Delays in reporting may make it more difficult to verify the condition of the shipment or investigate the cause of the issue.

06. Shipping Damage

If goods appear to have been damaged during transportation, please keep the products and packaging available for inspection and take clear photographs before disposing of any packaging.

Useful evidence may include:

  • Outer cartons or packaging
  • Shipping labels
  • Internal protective packaging
  • Damaged products
  • Quantity of affected items

Transport-related claims may also be subject to the rules and claim procedures of the courier, freight forwarder, airline, or shipping company involved.

07. Incorrect Products or Quantities

If you receive products or quantities that differ from the confirmed order, please notify us promptly with the relevant order details and supporting photographs or documentation.

After verification, we will discuss an appropriate solution based on the circumstances.

08. Approved Samples & Tolerances

For custom manufacturing, approved samples, drawings, specifications, artwork, measurements, and written confirmations may be used as the reference for determining whether delivered products meet the agreed requirements.

Minor variations may occur in manufacturing, materials, colors, dimensions, finishes, or other production characteristics where reasonable manufacturing tolerances apply.

09. Non-Defective Goods

Products that meet the confirmed specifications are generally not eligible for return simply because the customer no longer requires them, changes their preference, or cannot resell them.

This is particularly important for branded, customized, and private-label products that cannot reasonably be resold to another customer.

10. Return Authorization

If a physical return is required, customers must obtain approval from M.T. Techniques before sending the products back.

We will provide relevant return instructions where applicable. Products should not be shipped back without prior confirmation.

11. Return Shipping Costs

Responsibility for return shipping costs will depend on the reason for the return and the agreed resolution.

Where a verified manufacturing error is attributable to M.T. Techniques, reasonable return or replacement arrangements may be discussed. For other approved returns, shipping costs may remain the customer's responsibility.

12. Refunds

If a refund is approved, the amount and method will depend on the circumstances of the claim, the affected quantity, the original payment method, and any agreed commercial settlement.

Refund processing times may vary depending on banks, payment providers, and international transaction procedures.

13. Deposits & Production Payments

Advance payments, deposits, development charges, tooling costs, sample charges, or payments relating to work already completed may not be refundable once production, development, sourcing, or customization has begun.

Any cancellation request will be reviewed according to the progress of the order and costs already incurred.

14. Samples & Prototypes

Sample and prototype charges generally cover development, materials, labor, customization, and preparation costs and may therefore be non-refundable once the sample has been produced.

Shipping charges for samples are also generally non-refundable after shipment.

15. Separate Commercial Agreements

Specific quotations, pro forma invoices, purchase orders, contracts, or written agreements may contain return, claim, warranty, or refund conditions that apply to a particular order.

Where separately agreed terms differ from this general website policy, the terms confirmed for that transaction will normally apply.

16. Policy Updates

M.T. Techniques may update this Returns & Refunds Policy to reflect changes in our products, manufacturing practices, shipping arrangements, or business processes.

The latest version will be published on this page.
